The Road Goes Ever On: Tsung-Dao Lee's Path and Homecoming

Exhibition Overview:

At fifteen, he left Shanghai; at thirty-one, claimed the Nobel Prize; at forty-six, returned to his homeland. Through a lifetime of migration and pursuit, Tsung-Dao Lee wrote a pivotal chapter for Chinese science. From a youth born into a scholarly family, to a student traversing thousands of miles in exile; from a young scholar in offices across the ocean, to a dedicated contributor to China’s scientific and educational endeavors. His footsteps spanned the Eastern and Western hemispheres, yet his heart remained steadfastly tied to the land of China.

十五而离沪、三十一而诺奖、四十六而返国，李政道先生以一生的迁徙与求索，为中国科学书写了举足轻重的一页——从书香门第的少年，到千里流亡的学子、联大课堂上的奇才；从大洋彼端办公室里的青年学者，到投身中国科教事业，他的足迹跨越东西半球，他的心却始终牵挂中华大地。
